16-Bit Gems #6: Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES, Genesis/Mega Drive)
The Commodore joins Roo in this very special episode for a 2-player review of Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
Continuing our celebration of Halloween-fest-tober 2009, we take you back to when Lucasarts was a game studio in its prime. High off of the success of titles such as the Monkey Island series, they created what on the surface would seem to be a standard action game involving two teenagers fighting zombies. But when you add in a bevy of weapons, tons of stages, and that classic off-the-wall humor, the product is much more than the sum of its parts. Kinda like Frankenstein.
Update: Wow. Did we call this, or what?

Great review of a classic. So much better than a certain reviewer who shall not be named. And I'm not talking about the Happy Video Game Nerd.
Chris Bores shouldn't be allowed to live, much less review video games.
Youre Right, Mr K. His reviews are terrible. Chris Bores is such a cynical person he can't see past the first few levels of a game without calling it a piece of crap.
Another great episode for another great game. I remember playing this with my little brother. We were never able to beat the game, but that was ok for me as a child. I have many examples for this and it never made me so mad like today - why is that?
