I figured I'd make a thread to explain pretty much the opposite of the original topic. Has a video game ever caused something good to happen in your life?

I'll start by saying that I was playing Madden 10 the other day, and broke around 119 points, EA sports then notified me on my screen "PLEASE STOP SCORING, YOU ARE GOING TO BREAK THE GAME" My peers were in awe.

Oh, and the game didn't actually break, I ended up with 220 points by the end of the game.
