Unfortunately, there is no way that I can go to Magfest or anything else. So if you can manage to record the panel (especially the video-game-review one), it would be awesome.
I'm also looking forward Echo Screen Live. I will definitely tune in. And I'm also looking forward to the new content coming new year.
Nooooo Boomer. :( I know he was a bit more silent than the two of you, and there weren't a lot of pen and paper guys for him to hang out with, but I really liked him. I was also looking forward to playing MineCraft with him and Roo on the Clan of the Gray Wolf server, whenever that got up. Maybe it won't now. :-/ I guess it must have been serious for all of those great videos to be removed... Very sad times.
Glad to hear you'll be at MagFest, Roo. Sadly, I won't be able to attend. But maybe at some convention you'll be going to, sometime.
LOL at the Ocean Marketing "Avenger" controller reference. Uh... right? :-P
I had a feeling Boomer's departure was coming, due to his absence and a non-specific comment he made on the board a few months ago. It's a shame he'll be gone, but please give Boomer everyone's regards, wishes luck, and even prayers for us, from us, okay?
Also, please tell him 'Thank you,' from all of us, and Godspeed.
I am looking forward to Echo Screens, especially if you do have them a lot more often! Twice a week?? Hot damn!
Oy, I wish I could go to MagFest, but I don't think that'll be happening for me, either, nor PAXEast; and I'm closer to the Coast than I've ever been! Sigh...Well...some day...I'll just have to keep pesteringtorturingbullying talking to you guys from here! :P
I'm sad I can't make it to the conventions, especially for the Zen of Video Game Review panel. I look forward to the video if you end up going that route.
Roo, this is my first time commenting on the site. I have been watching your videos (16-bit gems and how things work) for as long as they've been advertised on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses. I think each video is a gem and I get so excited when that rare occasion comes when a new one is posted. I was born in '89 so I find the whole 16-bit genre very fun to learn about since I experienced very few games on these consoles as a child.
I WISH I could go to MagFest or the other convention you mentioned! Sadly I live on the wrong coast, I am a San Diego girl and I dont' have the finances to fly out. I would have been extatic to getting to meet you and a few other of my favorite personalities are TGWTG that are going as well.
I'm excited to hear that more videos will be uploaded on a more regular basis though! I can't wait for more regular content from you and everyone at the site. :)
If you're ever on the west coast for a panel I would love to attend. Until then I will always remember--there is no reset button.
I know I'm kinda spamming, but while you guys are at PAX East, you should come visit my booth. It's a classic video game store called Sudden Impact. Lots of good retro and new stuff, and I'd love to be able to say, "CLAN OF THE GRAY WOLF CAME TO THE STORE!!!" So yeah. I'll see you guys at PAX East!!! :)

Prangeraide: Thanks, Creepy Creeperson!
Heisanevilgenius: Looking forward to it - the BT panel should be a blast. :)
Knightcrawler: The Minecraft server is a long time coming, but the idea's not dead yet. Working on fixing up a PC now to see if that'll work out...
Fiends: Yes, great question - Echo Screen Lives will be recorded and released on the site not long after the stream. I'll tentatively say on Friday evenings.
Stephanie: Sorry you can't make it out, but thanks so much for your support and joining the community! I don't know about joining any panels on the west coast, but I've toying with the idea of coming out for something like San Diego Comic-Con or Pax Prime as an attendant some time... we'll see if that pans out.
Shrimpy: Commodore and I will totally come check out your store! Especially if there's the possibility of special *cough cough* deals in the mix? ;)
Akira: I'll be glad to see you there, for sure. MAGfest is just a car ride from us, so that's a trip I'll likely keep taking in the future. However, if you're stuck in the frozen north this year, there's the possibility of Commodore and I coming up for ConBravo! this summer. So keep an eye out for that.
I actually make a point of going to Comic Con as often as I can! If you could ever make it out here I would be more than happy to attend any panels or appearances. I hope to hear that you'll be in town soon!
Admittedly I first discovered this site through retrowaretv.com when 16-bit gems was added to their repertoire many moons ago. But since I followed that video to this site I have been bombarded with amazing entertainment in the form of podcasts, sketches, reviews, and blogs and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I recently decided to formally join the site and begin to interact with the community because I can honestly say out of all the sites that I've frequented over the years for retro and modern gaming discussions this site is by far my favorite and feels like a digital "second home" of sorts.
With that said it does sadden me that Boomer will be leaving the site as I truly enjoyed the Echo Screen podcasts that included him (not specifically, but certainly just as much as any of the others) and it wil indeed be sad to see the predominant authority on pen and paper games depart the group. But as a gamer who is/was much more influenced by video games than tabletop the sting will go away eventually.
Thanks for the last year of lurking you have provided me with and here's to the upcoming year as an active member on the site.
I'll be looking forward to those new Echo Screen installments as well as what sounds like a pretty great undertaking with fixing up/changing the site dynamic.
Hooray for charity marathons, site updates, and music from Illusion of Gaia! :D
Now come visit Oregon! My futon is ever-so comfortable!
I'll see you at Magfest, buddy. :)
Live echo screen - sounds delicious!
Looking forward to all of the things you mentioned. And huge thumbs up for that last reference....

Will you be recording Echo Screen Live? It would be great help to me since I work and will not be able to catch it at those times.

The Illusion of Gaia music was a nice touch.

VGA will make the trip in a year or so. That handshake will be epic.

Roo I shall wait, (for at least a month.)
