Just want to ask your opinions, especially to Roo, Commodore, and other Gray Wolves , since you had this podcast about the top 10 geek movies. I hope I'm not being silly here or anything.

I'm a nerd and I love video games, and video game girls as well(not to mention anime girls as well).
Well, in the classic 'Jocks VS. Nerds' sense, then yes, it counts. It's definitely a nerd movie in the very stereotypical sense. Some views on the term have changed over time though, and so it's not really seen in the same way as it once was. I guess that's the kind of funny thing about the movie is that it's timless, but at the same time, it almost isn't really, if that makes any sense.
Strictly speaking, it's a movie about geeks, not a geek movie. Just because a geek movie is more about geek-related materials like computers, video games, D&D, rather than geeks themselves. Though by necessity there will be some geek stuff in a movie about geeks so you could give it a pass, but the actual theme of the movie is college life, frats, fitting in, and Darth Vader sex.
Hold it! They had sex in a Darth Vader costume, doesn't that count as geek content?
Onjection! Only if the chick was dressed as Princess Leia. Plus it wasn't a theme... it was kinda rapey how he pretended to be her boyfriend.

Final verdict: Don't be a Rape Vader.
