In all seriousness, articles like this are interesting in how they strip away (make your own joke here) the common preconceptions about gamers and show that they're no less "normal" then people who dress up and wear face paint for sporting contests.  Now when they start showing Magic: The Gathering tournaments on ESPN, we'll really be on to something.
