First up, Commodore and I (Roo) were guests again - along with Derek Alexander, the Happy Video Game Nerd - on the Armchair Thinkers Podcast, hosted by Chris & Kyle (also of The Escapist). Topics included the Wii U, game companies mistreating popular franchises and fans, and generally how things will never be as good as we’d prefer them to be.
Not long after, I joined SNESmaster & P.K. Sandman from Tales of the Old Gray and Purple Box for another podcast, this more of a straight up interview. They asked all sorts of personal questions, such as: What are your favorite games? Is video game memory purely nostalgic? What's your social security number? I figured that "Roo" was the result of a stint in marching band, especially since you've got that picture on your wall.
The nickname (one of many) that enventually stuck with me was "Lanky."
What MB were you in? I spent 5 seasons with the University of Minnesota MB. Definitely the best time I had in college.
I was in the band in high school and I had the full intent of being in the marching band in college. I went to The Unviersity of Alabama. But I joined ROTC instead. Still marched a lot.
