Echo Screen #4: Video Game Nostalgia

Ah memories. Remember the first time your eyes lit up playing your favorite videogame from the past? Well these guys do too (with the exception of Boomer who has a heart of ice). And this week they'll discuss the nostalgia that all of us as gamers have for the great video games of the past.

Which games age well, and which ones don't? Can you ever really play Final Fantasy again? Will Boomer's cold heart ever melt from the sheer joy of gaming's past? Find out as the Clan of the Gray Wolf tackles video game nostalgia.

While I agree that bad controls does not a scary game make, I seem to be one of the few people who didn't have a problem with the original RE controls (As in I could use them, not that they were realistic and the best control scheme ever.)

Each to their own, I guess.

I agree with you about playing RPG's on a keyboard. VERY diffrent experience.  I got a SNES usb, a NES, ect. to try get that feeling that you would if you used the actually play on the tv. I never use save states. Takes away from the experience.

I know I'm weighing in on this a year and one month later, but I still go back and play King's Quest 6. To me, it still stands up amazingly well.
