I'll make it easy. The only real game-to-film I thought was really any good at all was Silent Hill. Every other attempt has sucked. :P

Silent Hill may not be a masterpiece, but overall, I thought it was a decent attempt, and there are a lot of things I like about it. It does have some great, creepy atmosphere and music, they worked in some game elements without being obnoxious about it, or without having it be really cheesy. The story is kind of mixed with being interesting and...not so interesting, but altogether, I think it works okay.

I admit that back in the day, I thought Mortal Kombat was pretty good. And whether people want to admit it today or not, it was a successful movie in its time. The second movie, yeah, we don't need to go there; everyone already knows. I have thought about watching MK again to look at its badness again, to see if I find it delightfully bad. I guess some of it was! Alas, I have not done so. No...need to hurry, either. :P

Prince of Persia.....was okay, at best. It wasn't too terrible, but largely, it's really not spectacular. That's the best way I can put it. I wrote a review about it here!  http://gaming-realm.com/2011/03/movie-review-prince-of-persia-the-sands-of-time/

Otherwise, I...really don't have much else to say about the rest of my game-to-film experience; they're all bad!

Silent Hill really is the only good game-to-movie adaptation.

Mortal Kombat was enjoyable - not great but I would watch it again knowing its trying to be true to the film and I don't watch it while cringing.

Resident Evil also was good. just wish they left it at one movie. The series got progressively worse as it went on.

I decided to watch Doom this weekend and  was that movie bad.  Those scenes that were made to look like the game were too much for me.
