Is it right to gut a game just for the case? I been thinking of buying some GameCube sport games because they are $1.00 a game, I can order new cases from Nintendo's online store for $4.oo for 5 cases but you have a $7.00 shipping fee ... ... let me correct myself I just went to verify the shipping price and Nintendo doesn't list GameCube cases anymore so the only way to get a GameCube case is to gut a case from another game and this doesn't feel right to me but at the same time are EA Sports games a loss to anyone?
I also wanted to do this for Sega Genesis's games but can't since EA games are larger than normal Genesis games.

There's nothing wrong with that; it's just being smart.
that's pretty smart

Feel better about doing that now.
It is wise to have spare cases incase you find a GameCube game that you want in a good case (Ocarina of Time/Master Quest) or the game is in a standard DVD case.

I needed a label for FF3 DS. I just searched online for one. I found a very good one, but I need to take it to a print shop to be photo quality, 'cause stock paper made it look ugly. But it's still not bad.
Go to Gamestop and buy some of their used boxes, then go to http://www.thecoverproject.net/ and find what you need.

I know of that link for thecoverproject.net, also use http://www.cdcovers.cc and regarding printing them I read online that it is better to take it to a print shop for better quality and saves on your own ink.

Answer these simple yes or no questions when deciding things like this
Is it your money?
More important, is it your money?
Finally, the money in your wallet you are about to spend, is it yours?
If you answered yes to any of these, then you should do it. It's your money, spend it however the hell you want.
Just make sure you recycle the EA Sports games as coasters.
Slight problem with the coaster idea most of my mugs are the same size as the discs.

Cheap coasters such as those are for guests.
Your personal coasters should be old AOL discs.
And I have a collection of AOL CDs, the cardboard backing makes for good crafts.

I used to make sculptors out of AOL disc's with a Heat gun i used to have...
You also used to put them under your tires and peel out . . . . .
To go beyond that, I'm planning on buying a sports game from the Mega Drive era for £1.00 because I've made up a case for Sonic 4 Episode 1 in PhotoShop. I wanna gut the case and place the Sonic 4 sleeve I've made inside, but to even print a sticker to place on the cart and maybe a little mock manual that would have just the front and back cover.
