For any of the Lufia players out there... probably the most painful thing ever is playing Lufia 1 before Lufia 2...

My first Lufia was  Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, which i played for a couple days and I loved it, so... what did I do? Well... I decided to buy the first one as well to see how they relate to each other story wise, only to find out that the prologue of Lufia 1 is actually the ending of Lufia 2... (making Lufia 2 a PREQUEL) gotta love 1996! and the lack of internet, so basically it spoiled the whole 2nd game for me, and kinda stopped me from playing the 2nd game for a while since the spoilers within the first game are really "sad"... or painful in this case.

Knowing the ending of the 2nd one beats the purpose of somewhat playing it, since the its also one of the saddest endings out there, and you basically know how exactly is going to end.

So for any people are new to the series. DO NOT PLAY Lufia 1, before Lufia 2.

Re: Lufia1 / Lufia 2

hey bro, I feel ya. I've played both Lufia games and enjoyed them both. I doubt my words will help but:

Sometiems it's fun knowing the ending, (like the star wars prequel...regardless of how you feel about them). Knowing the ending shouldn't make you sad, it's exciting seeing how characters change and evolve over the course of a story arch. When we just know the ending a characterschoices don't seem clear, we don't understand why they made the choices they did. This also lessens the impact of a characters choices, if they just madea choice and it happened to be the right one, then what drama was their for the character? What struggle was there?

I hope this lessned your pain, even if only a little :)

Well you already spoiled it for us so it's not like it matters anymore.
