However, I'm lobbying to change the 0-4 post count members to be labeled "Likely Spambot"

Funny you metion that...I almost gave them the same title.

right now it's a simple set up(based on post count):

Normal Users:

100 Dire Wolf

10 Gray Wolfer

0 Omega Wolf

Moderators:

Beta Wolf

Admins (Boomer, Roo, Commodore)

Custom Titles

We'll do more with it later, but it's a low priority. Meanwhile, suitable title ideas: post them here.

Omega wolf sounds too ominous for someone with no posts, Probably something to do with Omega being significant as something 'final'

I'd of made it something like 'Gray Cub' or 'Newborn' .

But Omega is also the term for being the lowest wolf in the pack.

Kind of like in the movie Alpha and Omega?

I think the "Likely Spambot" or just "Spambot" for new users under 10-20 posts is funny and makes a great warning flag.

I think amount of time as part of the website should be a factor as well

Could you make another Title for 500 and 1,000 post? I would like to see a longer list

Personally, I think we need a Loup-Garou title (it sounds cooler than werewolf, imho)

We now know what's causing the problem. When we change the role priority for user titles, our changes aren't sticking. What we haven't figured out is how to fix that. IN the meantime, I'm going to enable custom titles (as soon as I get a chance) for Mods, and you can change it to Beta Wolf on your side. 

They actually changed it to likely spambot now thats funny.

No, Likely Spambot is only for those with less than 5 posts....There should be an image associated with them as well, but it's not working yet.

When I look at your user title, it says "Dire Wolf"? Does it not say the same thing to you?

Boomer, everyone but you, roo, commodore and the beta wolves have likely spambot for a title right now. It's not just a problem on Mr. K's end

I've been here for a year...

I like the idea of post counters on Users, as well as Ranks.  It can encourage posts by users who normally might just read the forum instead of contributing.  However the other side of the coin is of course Spam to jack up ranking, as well as flaming.  As this community grows this can become a problem,  however from the Users I have seen on this site normally though I don’t think it will be a problem.

A saw one spam a few months ago who had one post on nearly every discussion would that count towards the title being changed? How could we get around that?

They're clearly based off of Final Fantasy series classes, mostly. I'm a Dragoon! I can jump high and spear things! Awesome! I've also seen (I can't recall who) as 'Blue Mage,' sooo...there ya go!
