so, we all love boosk right?

and we all love vidoe games, right?

An interesting conversation was had on /v/ the other day about what books would make awesome video games (inb4 nothing interesting on 4chan :P)

I would personally love to see a massive sandbox game (a la Assassins Creed) made from the Mistborn books. If you've not read Mistborn it follows the explots of Vin, a street urchin turned hero, and a band of theives trying to overthrow the the final empire. Vin is what is called a Mistborn, a magic user of sorts that draw on power contained in metals they consume. I think adding "magic' to a game like Assassins Creed would ope na whole new level of interestin in an already interesting series

Perhasp in the game you start out as a mistling (that is someone who can only draw on one type of metal for power, where as a mistborn can draw on the power of all metals) and their journey in the final empire to expand their power and influence. In book 3 of the series you learn there are ways for mistlings to tap into power sof the the other metals, but such things come at a cost to those that attain them.

Have you ever read a book, and then thought that would make an awesome game?

I do all the time...
