Now i don't know how many of you played this game, BUT, it is difficult none the less, i announce this challenge to anyone
Try to beat the Elite Four with just rental Pokemon
That is one of my most painful memories when i was younger, i couldn't transfer my pokemon from the GB games so i tried this, now I've played a lot of games but THIS is one of the most aggravating things to do, for your attacks not hitting, to being Paralyzed 4/5 times, very painful for me

I got bored with this game.
We rented it one weekend, and wore it out like a french whore then sent it back to the vidoe store :P
I managed it once. I never used my own against the elite four, since my team was massively spread out level wise (about 4 in the mid fourties, then one in the 60's and one at 70), so I always used rentals. I'd give you some advice, but for the life of me I had no idea how I did it, except for avoiding thunder like the plague. Always go for thunderbolt.

That's one challenge I doubt I could beat. That game was surprisingly hard. Though for me the real draw was the ability to fight against someone in real life without having to find a stupid Game Boy link cable (which was surprisingly hard to find in a store in the late 90's - did Nintendo just assume everyone who - played Pokemon had cables from 8 years earlier?).
