of the post and cuts off

Also when I started this message the field already
contained text from the last post I made on this

I'm using the latest verison of firefox if that  helps

 When I'm typing in the Txt box (I'm using Google Chrome) and i misspell a word normally i can fix it but when i try to right click the Cut,Copy,and Paste options only pop up

CptShadow: I believe that's an artifact of the text module that we use.  The fabled "site upgrade" that's coming will use a new module that will hopefully behave better.

I don't think I'm getting all messages that are sent to me. I remeber getting e-mail alerts about messages, but not seeing them when I log in

 I keep seeing forum posts from a user named "Roo." Can we fix that?

Yep. Text is still clipping off the screen.

Text clipping requires some html tinkering - that'll be a few hours at least.

The "radio shows" seem to be an related problem with Blip... great.

The videos don't show up in the Opera browser on the Wii

It might just be that the Opera browser sucks.

I should check out the site on my PS3. But I can't be bothered atm.

When you put a quote box in the form field, you can't type underneath it. The cursor won't move.

The best thing I can suggest is to write out your whole post, highlight the portion you want quoted, and then click the "quote" button.

When I go to edit a message, I'm treated to what seems a list of parameters rather than just the message itself. It's not a problem for pure text, but it kinda hurts the chessboard in the boomer vs the clan chess game.

That's a strange one that I can't seem to replicate.  Have you tried enabling/disabling rich text (under the text field)?

I don't seem to have the option to enable or disable rich text. And it posts the board like normal, I just have no idea how to edit it in that format. Or the time, considering it looks almost as long as the star wars ccg rule list.

Seems Roo is the only one who's "title" (below his icon) is not "Gray Wolfer" Can we change that?

We updated our WYSIWYG module on sunday. Has this cleared anyone's issues?

The WYSIWYG editor was just updated, so we're ironing out issues.

Spell checker should be back up.  And the error message is something we're working on, but doesn't seem to affect functionality.

And I encountered the text wrap bug again.

Well, the good news is that Drupal 7 has been released, and we think that some remaining issues may disappear when we roll over to the new version.

That text wrap issue is a strange one, Mr. K.  I'm not sure if anyone else is having it, but there is a precedent for there being lingering bugs for a scant few members (Boomer had an unrelated one a few weeks ago).  As he said though, hopefully an upgrade on the site coming soon could fix that.

As for videos on the iPhone, that is an issue with Blip.  Until recently, they only produced videos in the flv format, which didn't show up on Flash-hating Apple's precious wunderphone.  Blip DID upgrade recently to m4v files, but we've had a hell of a time finding the right codecs for that to work well in the conversion process.  For that reason, we've still been uploading Blip videos in flv format.  Figuring out what's wrong with our codecs and Blip is an ongoing investigation, though.  So hopefully we'll have it fixed soon!

sorry to keep harping on about this, but breadcrumbs on these forums would be incredibly useful - if you make a post, it's not easy to get back to where you were on the forums

I cant log in on chrome or internet explorer i can on fire fox but not on those two i dont know if its my computer but still.

EDIT: Also when i log out of the site on fire fox it still says im logged on.

@Dark_Light_Pala... this might help, I once changed a settings on my computer to a more secure setting and had problems logging into sites, so I had to go back to the pervious setting.

Dark_Light_Paladin: We've seen this problem itermittently in the past.  You should try clearing your cookies and cache for those browsers.  Then try logging in through http://clanofthegraywolf.com/user

Still didnt help i guess i'll just use firefox then.

Roo forgot to mention the other very imprtant thing to try: flush your DNS. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't have a clue why it works sometimes, but it does.

Also @ Overheat, We're testing breadcrumbs in the sandbox, so if it works without breaking anything else, then we'll implement it.

Hi Im just wondering if your site hates firefox or any addons at all. Each time i go to post something strange stuff happens.

I went to post a topic saying hi and all of that and ended up with a page that said what a forum thread was. are forum threads here like forum threads 2.0? Some new forum that Ive never seen or head of. I better go tell everyone that Ive found a new type of forum if thats the case.

"Likely Spambot" is a joke. It's the user title you get when you first show up. We're running the Drupal 6 forums module for now, but we may be upgrading. We've had some diffulty with Drupal on some browsers.

Yeah after a lookie around I did find a post saying likely spambot was the new members title. I was going to edit my post then thought id leave it incase I launched a nuclear missile.

I think I might have worked out what I was doing wrong. Save means post not save for later which I originally thought. I can be a nubcake today can't I.

Yeah the top of the fourm is getting cut off when i go to post using chrome so i dont know if thats the problem but this is happening to me.

Mine keeps getting cut off too, is that a website issue?
