As you may have noticed from my post today, I'm looking for some feedback.
Written blogs are much easier for me to do, and I can deliver weekly.
Video blog will be much less frequent, perhaps once a month, maybe.
Written blogs are also much easier for me to cover a wider range of table top gaming topics, and not just D&D.
So vote in the poll, and leave your comments, please.

I do both. Both are time intensive, but in different ways.
For me, writing one requires time to ruminate on what you want to say, then make sure it's on the page properly. Shooting video takes a while in one sitting. Oh, the joys of non-linear editing.
Personally, I've erred on the side of video these days. It's getting easier for me to do and requires less time and gives me more turnaround. However, if it's something I've wanted to plan out and work on, then it requires a script and an idea. Those kind usually take me a few weeks.
But then, I'm unemployed, no children and very little to distract me.
In the end, Boomer, you have to do what's best (and possibly easiest) for you. I'm pretty sure that people will be glad to hear from you regardless. Sometimes you attach a third-party video to what you're talking about. They're usually quite humorous.

I am with Mr. K here. I read your blogs (or with some just scan them) even though I am not into D&D.
Just thought of something with written blogs, someone reads it and can come back and scan for the info that they need, but with a video people will need to rewatch it and copy what you said.

On the poll I voted for video. Really there are merits to doing both. I'd like to see more content from your side of things, since I'm a table top gamer. I may be a Pathfinder but it's pretty much the same beast.
Why not split the difference? Instead of a written blog once a week, do one written and one video a month this would turn into biweekly content but give you the benefits of having a video, with the flexibilty of forum posts.

I would probably stick to blogs for a couple of reasons.
If someone wanted to try one of your "House Rules" the blog would be easier to reference.
The blog, to me anyway, is closer in form to the subject of tabletop gaming, as there is typically more reading involved, specifically for D&D.
It just seems to me that videos would turn into instructional videos on how to play the games.
However, I don't do any tabletop gaming, so maybe there is something I am missing.
