The Way Games Work: PlayStation Move
Roo explains the inner workings of the upcoming PlayStation Move peripheral. Just how much is it like the Nintendo Wii? How well can we expect the motion controls to work? And what's with that glowing ball on top? Answers to these questions and more in this episode of "The Way Games Work".

I want one, but I'm worrid about all the gimmick games and shovelware that will come out that you find a lot of on the Wii...Sorry, the only reason I don't own a Wii right now is because of all the wagglan games.
Whta will hold me off from Move will be the price tag, over $60 for the controller itself with the add-on plus another $40 for the Eye I don't already own.
Aleast it beats the 360's motion controller "I love you Skittles!" :P
The Wii had motion controls at birth, it had time to go through its growing pains.
The Move comes at the end of the PS3's lifecycle, there will be gimmicky games and then the PS4 will come out. :P
How does the WiiMotion Plus enhance the WiiMote?
Didn't it add at least a few of the features that come standard in the PS Move?
Why, yes it does, TommyJames. But you're getting ahead of me... :)
@Kurar...Move coming out at the end of the consoles lifecycle? You are aware that the Kinect and Move are intended to add another 4 years to life of these conoles. Sources in the industry say we aren't going to see another console until 2014 at the earliest.
Roo.
Are you going to describe how the Wiimote functions and then how the WiiMotion Plus enhances the function?
That's essentially the idea, plus a bit on how the pointer works.
Ooooooo . . . .
Pointers!
Would those be Laser, IR, or something else.
It's a mystery, you'll have to wait and see!
Or look on Wikipedia. They know everything.
Dude, screw Wikipedia!
I got Rooapedia!
Wow, it has been a long time since I heard Chrono Cross music; seems like most people claim to hate that game because it isn't Chrono Trigger, and fail to appreciate the awesomeness that is to be had with it, especially the soundtrack.
Chrono Cross is an amazing game. If I had a television that would render 280p, I'd give it another playthrough.
@Arkus actually the way the industry is talking its looking more likely 2013 and that year is becomming more and more certain as the year goes on
