I have an HTC Hero in the Verizon verzion which would mean that it is an HTC Droid Eris. Seems to be the only Android phone of the ones mentioned, which I am surprised about, but it does treat me well. I would definitely recommend anyone getting a new phone anytime soon, do please get an Android phone. I have seen way too many people using iPhones that really dislike AT&T, but simply want the iPhone because it is "awesome." Verizon is great, Android is great, Apple is oppressive. No offense Boomer. :-)
the company that made th Magic Jack, has a product coming out cometime this yearor next which will allow you to turn your computer into a cell tower, and for a yearly fee you can you unlimted minutes on your phone while within, I think they said, 500 yards...but I'd have to hunt down the info again.
I think this works for smart phones too....but if you wanted to actually go anywhere with your phone it'd cost you again. Not sure how data works with this device either, so again something that would require more research.
T-Mobile does a similar thing so that your cell works in your house no matter where you live.
But the rest of their coverage sucks, so who really cares?
AT&T keeps going on about how they cover 90 some odd percent of Americans. So does everyone else, In my experience, Verizon just does it better and with, from what I understand, better data coverage.
AT&T's "faster" only counts if you have a data signal.
Whatever happened to apple being the counter-culture computer of choice? Anyone remember the 1984 commercial for digital freedom? It seems like apple is a victim of it's own success, with people choosing phones just because they are not the iPhone.
And Roo...we all know you're a whore. No need to qualify it with distractors like "Samsung".

A Nexxtech phone that is corded to the base, that is corded to an answering machine that is connected to the wall jack, (with no screen). The only reason that it is a Nexxtech is because I could not find any other phone that meet my requirement except VTech but I have had issues with that brand.
I have a Iphone 3GS...which is used for 75% of gaming, 5% for phone calls, 5% for texting and 15% for youtube/facebook....yea...I don't get many calls lol....
Dropped my Incredible two weeks ago. That line has been discontinued and you can't buy them anymore. Upgraded to the X (which will also be phased out this summer).

My phone was just some blackberry pearl, don't know the exact model but it's not one of the better ones or more recent ones, I don't really wish to jump around on iphones or androids, there's one particular phone though I believe MIGHT be a type of android, I think it's called an HTC by Verizon but kinda touchy about going there with Verizon, don't have that many good or bad moments but some friends have some horror stories. Can't be as bad as some though, lol
If I get that HTC, that's going to be the most recent phone I'll have, even if there's newer models, as long as this phone works for me, I'll be voluntarily stuck with it for years to come.
iPhone3G and I love it.

iMate (PocketPC, predates iPhone) and a Sony Ericsson w850i.
Samsung Alias II.
Loved the original, had to get another. The new is a vast improvement on the old one.
I don't know what this phone I have is, it's a boost mobile, which means if I stray too far from the highway it dosen't work :P

I really, REALLY wanted a Droid . . . . but . . . . I really, REALLY didn't want to pay the extra $30 a month!

Just sayin'.
Most smart phones I have seen are compatible with wireless routers, so unless it is crazy fast, it would be a waste.
AT&T has slower connection speeds in areas like ours, 2 hours from st. louis, and 6 hours from any other major city
Hopefully I'll have this baby by this time next week: www.slashgear.com/att-samsung-captivate-unboxing-first-impressions-1293593/
I'm stuck on AT&T, but I'll be damned if I'm giving in to the Apple juggernaut of suck. That and I'm a Samsung whore.

Moved from a Blackberry Pearl to a Droid Incredible today. There are pros and cons.
